Tony Clark at Closeburn Station

SSS Irrigation did the first project for Tony Clark in 2014, helping him with an irrigation system for 120 hectares. Tony managed the installation himself, while SSS Irrigation handled the design aspect and supplied all the gear. They're now getting the second project done, which is a sprinkler system for 22 hectares. 

Why did they choose SSS Irrigation?

Tony shopped around for different options, but other systems were more expensive without having the same quality. A drawing card for SSS Irrigation was also that they could save 25% on doing the work themselves. And the sprinklers reach further. "It's a good system, and I now understand it and can fix things myself. I know the system has longevity", Tony says. 

How was the experience working with SSS Irrigation? 

Their experience with SSS Irrigation has been easy and hassle-free. Tony points out that Stu's systems are better than anything out there, and he's always trying to work out how to improve things. "I like Stu, and I believe in the system. He's an inventor who can fix things, and if there's an issue, he'll resolve it."

What were the results? 

Tony has noticed outstanding results, especially with Stu reinventing and adjusting things. Initially, they had 75% coverage but are now up to 95%. They grow more grass than their neighbours using centre pivots, and there's less labour involved. During the dry time, they can increase their growth by 50% since they water consistently.

"Their irrigation system is an essential piece of equipment for us. It’s shown us outstanding results and it’s also going to help with extreme weather events such as prolonged dry seasons."

The bottom line for Tony is that they wouldn't go anywhere else. "We're 100% behind Stu because his system is by far the best on the market."
